WHY IT MATTERS
We, as stakeholders, celebrate the courage needed to be a whistleblower and we specifically acknowledge Ms. Oyer for her brave testimony in the face of threats - regarding the "callous cruelty of DOJ leadership".
Despite being targeted with accusations, threats (including a letter warning of the risks of testifying that was delivered by armed special U.S. Marshalls), bureaucracy and pettiness.
Ms. Oyer, a previous Pardon Attorney at the DOJ calls out the "reckless and unethical use of department resources to accomplish political objective including favours to loyalists".
All Americans need to understand the character of the people who are running our country - and we absolutely must act when we discover how the DOJ - meant to protect us - is being led by people (Pam Bondi and Deputy Blanch) who have repurposed it as a "favour bank for loyalists".
