More and more, we see that challenging questions are met with removal - and even recommendations that representatives cancel their town halls rather than have to face difficult questions.
Ms. Borrenpohl was an early example of shocking abuse of power by event security - one of whom - a local Sheriff - threatened to arrest this person if she did not leave of her own volition. Unfortunately there have been many such physical abuses since. But this episode in Idaho, being an early example, shocked the World and likely contributed to a growing resistance to abuses of political power.
Those who decide to physically oppose democratic rights must not be allowed to forget the part they are playing in the rapid erosion of our democratic rights.
