WHY IT MATTERS
It is harder and harder to find real journalists as opposed to influencers. Terry Moran brings with him pertinent questions - and intends to push for real answers, which is how political journalists do their job in holding our leaders accountable on our behalf. And yet ... he remains civil throughout. Nor will he be intimidated into saying what Trump wants him to say.
Most rational people would like to respond to the absurd claims made by Trump here, "for goodness sake, you moron ... M. S. 1. 3. is annotated on that photo based on a highly speculative interpretation of the actual tattoos. Anybody can see that.". Terry agrees to move on as respectfully as is possible to do - but what he will not do is merely repeat what Trump WANTS him to say under pressure from the person with the most powerful position on the planet.
Moran has suffered massive distortions of facts with a campaign of attacks that have led to him being fired by ABC news under pressure from the Trump administration - all in an attempt to discredit him as a result of this interview. Well done Terry - You knew that you were placing yourself in the line of fire yet chose integrity.
