WHY IT MATTERS
This is further evidence that it is the intention of this administration to escalate tensions within communities.
There are still those who believe that the escalation of protests in LA by the Trump administration are an appropriate response to a false narrative that there has been rioting in LA in support of illegal immigrants.
All journalistic integrity is to be applauded. In this case, we can clearly see that there are attempts by some to turn what have been mostly very peaceful protests - not against lawful duties, but against state sponsored terrorism - into an excuse to stoke tensions and further solidify already troubling political divides.
No administration that cares about the people they are representing would encourage this.
