WHY IT MATTERS
In the face of so-called Christian Nationalism - which in some hands unironically accepts prejudice of all kinds, it is gratifying to see, in the direct words and deeds of Pope Leo XIV as well as his representatives that we have representatives on Earth today who espouse the values that were shared by Jesus of Nazareth.
The Catholic church under Pope Leo is calling out trump administration - and highlighting a true Christian valued response to current events.
His Excellency Bishop Pham took tangible and meaningful action by attending immigration courts in Sand Diego - offering much needed support to the repressed and likely discouraging less than virtuous behaviour by both immigration courts and, of course ICE.
